Paper adhesives are mainly used to create a quick, simple, durable and at the same time breathable dressing. The material protecting the wound (e.g. sterile gauze) is attached to healthy skin using an adhesive. It is therefore important that it is a hypoallergenic product that does not cause reactions such as itching or hives, and at the same time is easy to remove (so that its removal does not cause pain to the patient). In addition, adhesives are perfect for holding medical equipment (e.g. drains).
